When did I turn into such a bitch?

Text

After writing this reply when the CEO asked me to read through a 500-word excuse email I realized that I’ve become quite Darth Vader-esque in my tolerance for screw ups.

[Redacted-Recipient]: For somebody who doesn’t have a lot of time he sure likes to write long, drawn-out emails. As I’ve said from our first comps, he seems to want to design this project his way. If he didn’t need constant clarification and direction in his designs to keep him with his client’s needs this would not be a problem. Since he does, that is why he needs to keep attending these meetings. They certainly aren’t for our benefit. If the physical location is an issue they could be done over the phone if he has a problem coming in to the office, but I don’t think that with his turnaround time and ability to selectively ignore important emails that we should do anything less. Do what you want with this guy. Should you choose to boot him, I just hope you show him the same level of punctuality in his payment that he has shown in his work. __ Mike
